Gaz Top Mounts fitting issue, pics

Fitted Gaz top mounts frommy 182 to my ph1 earlier and something isn't right..
The oe mounts sat flush and with same thread at the top, clearly not the same with the Gaz ones..
They say fine on my 182.

Any suggestions before I pull it all apart again? My mate removed oe top mounts from my Ph1 and said he didn't notice anything unusual.

Has fairly new 172 cup dampers

Fitted in this order -
Top nut
Sleeve into bearing
Bearing
Sleeve into bearing
Washer
Top spring plate?? See arrow in pic.

Am I missing something?
