Gearbox info ?

I have a 172 cup n looking get a another gearbox will one from a 182 sport work with my car ? As in the speedo ?

No mate. You need to find another jc5 129 with speedo drive. These are found in most ph2 172's or you need to get one out of a ph1 which is a jc5 089. Slightly different final drive on the 089 but nothing to worry about.

The ph1 089 has a longer final drive so gives a higher top speed mate.
