I bought 2 splx ten inch subs with an amp to power them,it came already boxed up in a big huge thing with a perspex fronyt..obvisuoly it looks crap,takes up too much boot space and generally annoys the hell out of me.



hence why its sitting there in my shed doing nothing.

Id like to rebox one of the tens to cover the bass situation until i decide on a suitable install (quick fix solution in the 1st place) but have no idea about sizes or anything..can anyone help?

If your subs came with a booklett itll say the volume needed in there - otherwise check the manufacturers website for details!

i dont mean to be rude but unless ur really strapped for cash id suggest selling anything branded slpx ...it is possibly the poorest quality audio brand ive ever had the pleasure of sorting problems out on...I work for halfords and we always get motorworlds customers in complaining it doesnt sound good or its broken etc etc...

Yeah SPLx are shyyyyat.

Although if you have to, 10" boxes are being sold for 20£ a piece at MotorWorld (source: BRUN) and you would be hard pressed to make a box, carpet it, for this price.

So there it is.

yeah splx are pants..hence why they are in my shed

i bought them as a quick fix solution to my bass issue in my corsa..

seems no one wants them though..so im stuck with them.

and i work for motor world, and no matter how many times you tell those customers, or offer them alternatives for not much more money, the price always leads them and they buy SPLx !!
