God damn VW paint

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172
:(

spent 2 hours on the bonnet last night,

1 pass with Power Gloss on a menz cut pad
1 Pass with 3.02 on a Menz polish pad
1 Pass with pOFF on a menz polish pad
1 pass with P058RD on a polish pad
Megs cleaner wax
EPG
Colinite 647

80% have gone but its just not quite there?! Still some light swirlage?

The car has AG life shine on it (same as superguard) Will this be causing a issue with cut?

Oh to top it off Ive run out of Power Gloss!

Did you use a Rotary or DA? A DA wont go near VW paint without some serious work!

To get the Golf looking mint then yes, or if you've got Popeye-like-forearms and plenty of time, then a PC will be fine! ;)

Im very Impatient but CBA spending £70 on a kestral loads of pads n plates etc! I’ve just bought new pads for the PC lol.

Ill wip out the SRP for the rest then!

You can use the same pads on the rotary

I tried to correct Pedro's bonnet with his G220 yesterday, and it knocked the swirls back about 30%. Whip out the Makita, few passes with 203S on a Megs Polishing pad, and they were gone.

Rotary is the way forward. Da is such a chore.

my Skoda paint is the same, a few passes with 3M FCP and at best ive corrected them by about 30%
