At first I thought that red mark on the sie of the car was paint or whatever...clearly just a reflection of the door light

Very tidy, mate. The grey is a bit of a dark horse, too. Very rare, especially within the usual blue and black crowd.

Yeah, I suppose it's a bit marmite to be honest. You either think it's a completely dull and boring colour, or you're like me who thinks it's a nice subtle colour, that'll look awesome at dusk with the xenons blazin' ;)

Like Justin said about the seats, I thought they only did the one black style.

Yeah the steering wheel looks a bit dated!
Not sure a MK5 steering wheel will be cheap though!

And I know the interior is not to everyones taste. Gotta be better than the Astra interior though, although the heated recaros are good!

Ive seen this a couple of times and it always looks mint. Defo go for the milltek you wont look back - but you can always do the 'flapper mod' for the meantime.
I couldn't find a 5 door Anthracite Grey R32 when i was looking - so your lucky finding a low mileage one. It really is a stunning colour in the flesh

Great colour for the R32. Looks very classy. Like the interior colour as well but it must be hard to keep clean.

Very close to 300% chairs there too

  Iceberg 172
Beautiful. If only the lower dash and door cards were black!

Lovely all the same but are you coming from a Renault sport? If you are you'll be bored of driving it soon... V dubs offer no driving thrills IMO.

I've had a 172 previously. I loved that car, but after a while and doing 70 miles a day in it the rattles, poor build quality, loooud exhaust and hard ride (coilovers) got a bit tedious.

In an ideal world I'd still have it, but use it for weekend blasts and track days. But couldn't afford that.

I wanted something well made, big engine, nice sound (not too loud) and bit more of a cruiser.

I wouldn't expect everyone on a clio forum to be a fan of Golfs anyway to be honest. But I've always liked them, and fits the bill for what I want and need.

I appreciate the interior isn't to everyone's taste lol. But I kinda like it.

Picking it up Friday afternoon :D

  Golf R soon...
Very nice indeed!

I looked for a grey R32 for ages but settled on a black one in the end.

Milltek is a must if you want a bit of noise.

Sounds great in a built up area! ;)

Christ, sounds class.

Not sure I could put up with it day in day out though!

I got bored of the sound on my clio! Droned like a b**ch when cruising at about 50-60 mph
