Due to the Grasshopper meet next week does anyone fancy doing this Hatfield Heath meet this Sunday? Don't even mind making it North Weald again if anyone else prefers?

Shall we make it North Weald then for about 2pm? Just thinking if the weather is crap we can duck in the squadron for a coffee. If it does turn out nice we could always have a blast up to Hatfield Heath.

North Weald is a no - no. Last time we couldn't get on site (admittedly there were 50-odd cars there..) to get to the cafe and I don't fancy standing around in a cold wet concrete yard again haha

I reckon we will be ok seeing as there is only a few of us that seem to be going. If we get knocked back we can have a blast up to Hatfield Heath. It's only a few miles up the road.

Not wanting to pee on anyones parade here but due to the problems we had last time can I suggest we don't go over to the cafe on the airfield... We may just jeopardise any future organised events. By all means meet over by the market bit (where your insurance is still valid). Hopefully there will be a proper organised meet later in the summer, where we will be able to meet by the cafe area but this has to be organised by myself or Vicky and through the airport management.

No worries. On Sunday I'll do a better drive if you want? You'll be able to hear it better as we'll be less restricted than on the airfield.
