heat gun on plastics ..



no, Surely it would just be easier to paint it or use some form of trim dressing when you clean to car like this.... (which I highly recommend tbh)

rather than risking melting the plastic on the grille and damaging the bumper in the process....
 
As above. If you want to darken the plastics more than back to original looks, paint them. If you want them to look "factory fresh" do it properly with GTechniq C4.
