Hel Braided Hoses

Hi Guys,

I'm about to buy some Hel Braided Hoses from www.brake-lines.co.uk

I am just wondering which ones I need to go for.

There is either:

http://www.brake-lines.co.uk/renault-clio-mk2-2-0-renaultsport-172-2000-2001-hel-brake-lines.html
which are for - Renault Clio MK2 2.0 Renaultsport 172 (2000-2001)

or

http://www.brake-lines.co.uk/renault-clio-mk2-2-0-renaultsport-182-hel-brake-lines.html
which are for - Renault Clio MK2 2.0 Renaultsport 182

Both of the above kits have different part numbers but I was under the impression that all 2.0 Clio's use the same Hoses?

I have a 2002 172 Cup so just wondering if anyone knows which Hoses are the correct ones to go for, as I was thinking the top link but that says 2000-2001 but mine is a 2002?

Thanks

Steve

I'd prob say 182 tbh.
Cheers

Have a feeling the ph1 lines are very slightly shorter, so the 182 ones would be the ones to go for
Thanks Danny, I will go for the 182 ones in that case:).
Look in group buy/ebay you can get goodridge stainless lines for £30 posted
I did see that group buy thanks mate, just from searching on here for a few hours last night, a few people in old threads have had problems with their Goodridge hoses so wasn't keen on going for them.

You need the 182 hoses. Have a look at Camskill prices as well, were cheaper when I bought them.

I bought some Goodridge, not from that group-buy but from the same person and they fitted fine. Just needed to make sure that the rears were clear of corrosion before putting the new ones on.

they normally fit fine, but the fittings are prone to corrosion, and seizing on so they can't be removed at a later date. They're plated mild steel rather than stainless. HEL are fully stainless

They do two types, zinc plated and stainless. Mine are the stainless ones.

That one is not me as I don't wear Glasses but I have seen him before normally around 6pm when I'm nearly home from work, think he must be from around here too.

  2.2 bar shed.
Mate of mine had some HEL lines break on him the other day. Not wanting to put fear into anyone but im pretty sure they shouldnt do that. Saying this he is a tard when it comes to fitting stuff though...
