Help on Stereo Code

Ive just had the battery disconnected on my 172, but now I cant find the stereo code in any of the cars history.

Does anyone know if the code has anything to do with the chassis number? Or do I need to contact Renault.

Have you checked in the service handbook? Should be on a sticker inside the front cover or first page along with the chassis number etc

if you check your service handbook, the number is on the inside of the front cover
