help req adding rear speakers in 04 clio

ok ive bought some sony xs1331 speakers and fitted them in the rear fine just need some help wiring the fellows up to the standard cd player
have popped the head unit out and looked at the iso plug like in this diagram http://www.twingo-portal.de/spanish/index.html?projekte/index.html
all the wires are already in pins 11 to 18 does anyone know where the ends of the rear cables are situated? is the diagram correct? or do i have to run the speaker cabling all the way to the cdplayer and cut into them there(hoping to avoid this)...jeez they have used some stranged colours to wire up this car :/

Have a look in the rear I didnt think the cars were wired unless they got the parts ie no rear wiring unless it had rear speakers though.

ISO drawing should be correct theres only one way of wiring them correcly as ISO is a spec manurfacturers have agreed to to aid swopping of head units etc wihtout problems.

other thing is i quickly popped out the front left speaker from the door but the colours didnt match the iso diagram but i guess they had changed colour because of they go into something to split the woofer and tweeters signals that are fitted in the front? u can guess im an ICE noob :p

If u have rear speakes in the door cards behind the drive and passanger seats the best thing to do is take that panel of, you do this by pulling the bench seat up and grabbing hold of the front of the door card where the bottle holder part is. Give it a pull and it should come off.

then you will need a touque screwdriver bit ( STAR SHAPE ) to undo the orginall speakers. Once these are out slice the cable and join the new cable and the old cable together then rejoin them to the speakers. Run the new cables to the rear and connect.

If you need any more help just PM me.

didnt come with rear speakers ive fitted the sonys fine in the door cards next to the rear seat but couldnt find the wiring if it exsists...
the clio extreme i bought comes with 2 door woofers and a pair of dash mounted tweeters...the iso plug has all the wires connected so i guess they end somewhere in the car ....was asking if anyone knew where i could find them

if you cant find em then maybe the only way is to run cable off the ISO block, but it is strange wires being on the block if you dont have the speakers ?

If your using the standard head unit you will need to run its initial set up so that the head unit knows it has rear speakers, or they wont work.

If you need to know how to do this send me a pm and I will look it up.

But you might be lucky, it could already be setup for rears.

renault wiring always changes from the back of the head unit to where the speakers are!!

also they have the habit of taping the required connector to part of a loom if its not used from factory!!

have a look at the loom in the rear panels!!!

to turn the rear speakers on - on these new type head unit - hold down the source button (src) for a couple of secounds till you get a new screen pop up the use either the volume up and down or the radio frequensy left and righjt buttons to scroll though this menu to you get to rear speakers - by this time you would of figured out how to change it

yes done mine. some of the questions were very vague though and some questions had a few choices which were all applicable. do you know what part 2 is then?

Didnt think there was a part two?!

there was a practical to do do down at watford depending on your results!
