Rinse with water, apply snow foam and leave for a while to do its job. Rinse off, wash car with a decent shampoo using 2 bucket method. Rinse off again. Use clay while car is still wet and then rinse off again. Dry with microfibres towels. Prima Amigo applied with DA and wiped off with microfibre. Then apply a couple of layers of HD wax.

Prima amigo is a glaze. It's like a polish. Yeah I'd say it really needs to be applied with a DA. You can get a Meguiars DA for about £150. Well worth investing on one.

It's a glaze. It brought mine up a treat when applied with DA.

This was after using clay, prima amigo and then autoglym HD wax
Pic doesn't really do it justice but you get the idea

Thats what Ant did with my car expect he used Auto Finesse Passion Wax, i was also thinking about the AG HD wax as its a bit cheaper.

Is there any other way of applying snow foam than an expensive pressure washer attachment??

I'd not worry too much about snowfoam if you're just starting out; it's expensive if you haven't got the kit. Just get a citrus pre-wash and a pump sprayer.

Also, Bilt Hamber clay doesn't need lube, just water. It's unique in this, as far as I know, so all (or at least most...) other clays need a lube of some description. I generally just use a slick shampoo mix in a spray bottle.
