I used axel stands when I put the front splitter on as I found it wouldnt have cleared the ramps.

Where is the best place to put a trolley jack under it ?? (brake pads this time)

All i can see is sill and soft looking stuff. No jacking point. And i really dont wanna use the sill crusher !!

my 1.2 wont go on a 2 post lift with out a trolly jack, come to thing of it it cant get on a 4 post lift either going forwards

there should be 2 strengthening bars under the car just behind the sills to jack up on approx 4 inches away from sill!!

I risked using the jacking points!! I was very careful then placed an axle stand under the cross section of the wishbone.

You may want to place a large bit of wood in between the jack and the jacking point to spead the load a little, Im sure youve read how they like to bend.

You can get a 172 up the ramps, just put a block of wood under the ramps to lower the angle.

wackojacko,

Try these pages from http://www.rs-team.orghttp://www.rs-team.org

Front: http://www.rs-team.org/Html/Prepa/Liaison/plaquettes_av.htmlhttp://www.rs-team.org/Html/Prepa/Liaison/plaquettes_av.html

Rear: http://www.rs-team.org/Html/Prepa/Liaison/plaquettes_ar.htmlhttp://www.rs-team.org/Html/Prepa/Liaison/plaquettes_ar.html

Very good pages with lots of pictures, unfortunately they are in french, so you will need to run these pages through a language translator such as the one on google.

Chris.
