51plate mkph2 and i needed a jump start cz the battery was :dead:

gta get a new 1 tomorow, how long are they meant to last 4 avrg, iv heard 2/3 years but thats one point of view. . .correct/incorrect?

Depend on use I've known barriers last 18 month to 10 years plus.

I think they have a 2 year warranty . On my 51 plate 172 its lasted 3 years .

Mines a 52 plate on the original, and its shagged! leave it a couple of days and it wont go!

You could always buy one with a 4 year guarantee, i would expect art least 2 years from even the cheapest battery, i got a new one last month replacing the original one, my car is a 99 'V' plate.

my old one lasted 130k/4yrs then it went 3 weeks after i installed some ice so think thats what killed it!
