how much bhp from this

i have a itg panel filter and a magnex cat back system. im looking at getting a de cat (janspeed) and the hill power inlet manifold then having it set up on either the dastek or smt6 or whatever its called. what bhp figure will i be looking at with this lot fitted?

Thats all wrong a full zorst system alone with no other mods will get you around 6 - 7 bhp 4 at the verrrrrrrrry bottom.


full system 6-7 bhp

hi flow air filter 1-2 bhp

ecu 10-15 bhp

de cat 6-7 bhp

total = 23-26

yeah i was thinking about 20bhp, dont know what gains are had from the inlet manifold mod but heard good things about it on here. plus ive heard the only changes on the 182 are the inlet manifold and cat/exhaust so if these 2 give 10bhp surely 20bhp isnt out of the question.

by inlet manifold are u refering to the tubular manifold that ktr sell? i thought about one for my 1.2 16v. a tubular manifold that is.

Ive just order a full k tec system and a green hi flow panel air filter and will be most pi**********d off if its not pumping out 176 at the very bott.

even thought i only have a 1.2 16v it sounds mint, i had the silenced centre section fitted but im not regretting it and im having it removed saturday and replaced with a straight through section. i chose the k2 twin 3", u cant faulter the service or product at all! top job, oh and its loud ...

The bit when you take off the bit of black pipe that goes from the air box to the inlet manifold ? If yes what u doing going make it rounder so more air can get in ???????????

ps with all the mods you speek of you looking at 25-poss30 bhp do ecu last so you can max a mise all of the bits you have done and get the max out of them .

Dont forget the 172 has 167hp stock.

thats true mate i bet the 182 are only 150bhp or soemthing daft..would be interested to know the results mate cos im wanting to go down the exact same route...we should get our heads together and see if we can sort a discount or soemthing...with hillpower for the inlet manifold and chip...where could we get this decat from anyways as im defo interested in one of these now

bloody hell what is it with people an power figures !!!!!!!!!!! 6-7 bhp for a full exhaust you must be fecking joking !!!!!! mine gave about 10 with decat and well we all know my exhaust.

ecu 10-15 hum possible when combined with a viper inlet manifold maybe 5 or so better off doing head and cams tbh
