As some of you are aware, i thought my Gaz coiloves were wrecked as i had a realy loud clanging noise everytime i went over a bump (this was detailed in my forsale section post)

Well tonight i decided to follow makavelli's advice and sort out my exhaust the cheap way, using some rubber and zip ties.

how are they knackered?

if they are just a bit worn and causing a saggy exhaust then quite a few peeps (me including) have opted for a cheaper fix a la zip ties and pieces of rubber/silicone:

Turned out it was my exhaust clanging on the underneath of my car the whole time. There is nothing wrong with my suspension and my car is sound as a pound: no more clanging noises

Thanks Makavelli for the advice, in a way it has saved my buying new suspension

i know andy had a bit of bother with his exhaust, before he fixed the clamps he used to pull off the curb from my house and id be seriously worried about the 'noise' it used to make
