Much better, just make sure you get them aligned. So many arses round my way with these conversions that blind the feck out of you as they havent had them adjusted properly.

Yeah i'm planning on getting them aligned as soon as i can! For now i have chosen the 'lowest' pointing point for the lights so they won't blind people.

million times better. all you need now is the royal mail sticker

PMSL, yeah! It's on the to do list! But don't know where to stick it!

LOL, looks good.

How do you find the K&N - flat spots? Noisy?

Yeah the K&N gives a great sound, but what u do mean by flat spots?.. It's fairly quiet inside the car, but its quite loud on the outside. Got my mate to drive down a stretch of road so i could hear it, and it put a smile on my face when it drove by! :) What mods have you done to yours so far?

Looks good. You still loving the Ignis?

Yup, indeed, each time i get in and drive it, it always puts a smile on my face, especially now with the HIDs fitted, i love driving at night! :)

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
the night time shots look like they'll dazzle oncoming cars...?

They're on the lowest setting right now, and have drove around london streets, and have had no problems so far, the aligning is a little off, but getting that sorted ASAP.

I'm sure its a good car etc, but its fcuking awful.

I'd gladly own one as many people have raved about them, but lets be honest, it looks absolute dog shite.

Well u don't notice it when you're driving it :) Thats where the smiles come form.

Oh yeah, I can appreciate that, I drive the shittest cars known to man just because they're good to drive, but you have to admit, The Suzuki Ignis is up there with the most handicapped of cars.

Nah I'm not going to admit that, I'm quite hurt by that comment. i think standard they don't look the best, but lowering them, makes a massive difference, that's on the to do list.

I think Dan's looking past the rediculous ride height... and at the complete package?

I could be wrong.

Yup still do. Just in case if i get bored of the IK sound, or when i sell it!
On SISOC there used to be a guide to use the original airbox as a cold air feed similar to the carbon fibre style jobbies IIRC. I may be wrong but I'm sure it was there..

Lowering a car makes a massive difference to 'the complete package'. But i love the way it looks.

I've not seen that thread, i might have a fish for it, but i can guess how it can be done. just leaving the front section of it on right?

  Mustang, S13, AX GT
Yeah the front section and the section that went over the plugs cover aswell IIRC. As I said it was a long ass time back that I had mine so I may be mistaken... I know that the airboxes used to get cut up a lot to make wonderfull air filters/induction kits. Some made their own kit using the original airbox, cutting it and using a monster filter. That was cool. Also, the royal mail stickers been done on a red iggy before, maybe a marmite sticker instead it would be more appropriate for the Iggy

LOL - harsh...but true. It does look like it needs a 'special' driver I'll admit...tall, boxy, Suzuki badge, agree they do look a bit hideous.

But as Hazza (and you) say, it's all about the drive...and in that area they are 100% faultless, as good as any standard Renaultsport car in my opinion.

Flat spots? A point in the rev range where it doesn't pull through cleanly or it hesitates/stutters at a particular rpm/throttle opening?

Mine is still and will remain (mostly) 100% standard. Love the engine, it's revvy nature, peak power at 6,400...I just wish it didn't limit at 6,750 as it's still going very strong at that point. Mine spent almost the entire last tankful between 4,500-6,500 at full throttle...yet still gave 38 mpg :approve:

Going to try and get some in-car video this weekend...see if I can catch what it is about these things that makes you smile constantly when driving them.

Hmmm well it does take a teeny bit of a while to pick up at low revs, but kicks in around 2k, i'll get a video up one day and show you if that helps.
