Hi all, Due to having alot of play in my rear disks/wheels im going to try fitting deflector plates/washer things as i dont remember seeing them when my brakes were changed last.

Im just wondering if there are any pictures/guides or any info about it?
Like.. where the go exactly etc..

Thanks, Liam.

They just go onto the stub axle before you put the disc on. Flat edge facing inwards.

You may be lucky and get away with it but of they've been on a while your bearings are probably knackered so they may very well fall apart when removing.

Alright thanks Danny, they been on for around 5k miles.

Probably best to get some new bearings before I even try it just incase it comes off in parts then isn't it?

There's some waiting for me in ness motors and I've got new bearings just incase!

Surely they were on the car when you took the old disks off?

No they were not on the car when we changed the brakes, otherwise they would of went back on!

Cheers for the wrong info Danny :p

Yellow_Chris and myself are going to tackle them on saturday morning.

Thanks all.

The wheel would have movement in it and f**k the bearing within about 2 miles. It's not an option to not use it.
