Insurance help!

got my clio 1.2 2002 extreme today and im looking for insurance im 18 no ncb and held a liscence since this febuary. Directline are the cheapist on full cover (what im looking for)

but they wont allow any modifications to the car, can anyone suggest any good insurance companys that allow mods to cars and wont charge me the earth for full cover to go along with it (and yes im aware you pay excesses for mods)

note: directline quoted me around £1730ish (if i remember rightly) with pass plus discount. and i have pervious driving experince.

i - along with a few others id imagine - would advise you not to mod your car until you have a few years behind you.

if you do find an insurer they'll rape you s**t hard for it.lets be honest aswell mate the mods you do aren't gonna benefit you power wise anyway, just looks.they look pretty good as standard anyway
