Insurance on a 172 or 182

  Clio
Can anyone give me some figures for how much it mite cost me to insure a 172 or 182
im a 19 year old
cheers

Would be quicker, easier and more accurate if you just did the quotes yourself (Tesco, Bell, Elephant etc)

At a guess, £1.5-£2k. I had a mate who had a 182 at 19, and was paying £2.5K, silly money.

Obviously a few (including me) will say, just wait a few years.

  172 Cup
Got my 172 at 19.
2 yrs no claims
3PFT
Adrian Flux - about £100 a month it worked out at. (with CS club discount)

sounds quite high on average tbh, will just wait for a year or 2 and get a few more years no claims bonus then go for it, then at least the car and insurance will be cheaper :) but the petrol will probs be double it is now :-(

i pay £820 something a year with 2 years no claims.I'm 23 and my girlfriend is 21.she claimed off my policy in 05 so lost my no claims then.still reasonable enough though.

As already said, the longer you wait, the cheaper it will get. I'm 23, and pay £590 fully comp on the Cup.

There are so many sites out there, a few price comparison ones too.... Elephant is often the cheapest though.... watch out for the 10month bonus accelerators as not all insurance companies recognise it as a full 1 year no claims....i.e. its usually only the one you got it with
