Insurance Renewal Shock!

Just got the letter this morning for renewal. This is for a Ford Escort 1.6LX.

It was on my old policy for the remaining 3 months of it and was £80 a month. Now the renewal is £1300. wtf. which is around £125/month, £40 more than I am paying now, + I now have 2 years no claims, thought that would have bought it down abit.

You must either:

1/ Have alot of points on your license

2/ Have had a serious claim

3/ Live in a s**t area

4/ All or any combo of the above

Coz £800 for a 172 at 34 years of age is criminal!

I pay £554 for my vee, and thats enough (35 btw)
