Is a Yozza Sport worth the Money for a 172 ?

I am going to buy a stainless system prior to getting my car on the track, it is being set up for track days so will be running a de-cat also.

i dont fancy a milltek or anythink like that.

was interested in a k-tec or even the btb system.

Has anyone ran the manifold of ebay ?

are they any better than the standard 172 manifold ?

i've heard great things about the yozza system an wanted one myself but at the time of wanting a new exhaust fred had no stock so i settled for the oreca grp N system with decat which is a good bit of kit if i do say so myself. As for the manifold have you got a link? If its some cheap stainless jobby i wouldn't bother cause i've fitted a few raceland manifolds in past an always ended up having to "modify" them to fit do to poor build quality!

Yozza's are worth the money and get a 182 manifold loads of info on this already buddy

182 manifolds seem to be popular but it requires dropping the subframe to replace so its no 5 minute job.

depends which one! race one is, on one of the other YS question threads Fred says the stealth backbox is a 2.25", but 2.5" centre. The change to the smaller bore will make the backbox more efficient in silencing but whether this affects performance will be for Fred to say.

If you think there pricey now then you need to get one bought now as prices are going up 8% soon

They are fantastic exhausts dont get me wrong, but the price compared to similar quality exhausts for imprezas for example is extortionate

I have the race version on a 172 road car, idle its OEM pootling around it sounds great, tanking it.... oh my.

still all within limits too. Noice.

I will phone fred tommorow and get it ordered. The Pas pump replacement will have to wait till next month. Car is only sitting on the drive ! cant believe ive owned a clio a year and its only moved 10 mile !

I picked my yozza up on Friday, fitting it today.

Incredible peice of kit. Beautifully made. Worth every penny and every day that I waited.

Anyone who buys anything else is a fool (with the exception of a btb)

Upload to photobucket / flickr etc etc, they'll then have a IMG link with each photo that you upload, just copy and paste that into you post.

on the stealth quiet (i'm going to call it "The George") it reduces yes, the rest are 2.5 straight through

Tbh I've just fitted a race system to my cup, its a cat-back and is no louder than the system I had on before. I imagine it will sound rather tasty with a de-cat as well .

I'm however not quite sold on the look of it yet, quality seems good though

I don't like the way the tailpipe from the backbox appears to point down a little, I'm not sure if there is some room for adjustment or not

I'm getting used to it now though, looks a lot different to my recessed system that's for sure, looks more chavy with my 4x4 stance lol
