Is there a difference in length of phase 1 and phase 2 172 drive shafts?

I'm planning on doing wide track conversion on my mk1, i have a phase 2 172 and was going to use everything from that, most people have used phase 1 stuff, will i have a problem using the phase 2 items?

Mate I've got 10+ sets of driveshafts down my garage, the reason I can't sell any of them is because it seems each pair is different. It's a complete minefield!
My mk1 has ph1 items in it. I appreciate that doesn't help though.

But the wishbones/shocks/arb are the same? the f**k goes on in the Renault factory.

Ill try the phase 2 stuff and see what happens, whats the deal with that bearing carrier thing on the long drive shaft? how does that come off?

172 cup and all later ph2 subframes have the bolt holes for the wishbones drilled further out giving a slightly wider track. So you need slightly longer driveshafts.
