Lol, You finished late then!?

Yes mate. We tested it around 10.30, in the rain, Mark found the limiter in 2, 3rd and possibly 4th. Good way to run it in.

I'm back up in the morning to finish off some other bits. Call round if you are in the area.

More pics and blog to follow. Lets just say I've successfully completed my first F4R engine build.

Have to thank Mark Fish for all of his help and assistance, and lone of Ramp, and cups of coffee.

I bet he's glad to see his static display model finally leave his workshop.

hehe

nice one mate... 'Steve' must be happy with the results?

He hasn't checked it out yet, hopefully in time for the next Ring trip though, yes.

We were nearly shaking hands with the hedges last night, there was so much standing water around.

Oh, quick mention to all that put up with me, and helped out with lifts and loans of cars and the like over the last couple of months.

Sarah (sash) especially, It's been a long journey or two!

Iain C ("Don't put those flipping cams in, again, spend it on drink!").
Glad I didn't take your advice. ;)

more pics more pics!!!

lol, in time.

I've been told I need to do a project thread. (I've changed more than the wiper blades, so I guess I qualify. ;) )

Will do some more tomo of the finished article.

Basically, I think we've had a spanner on every bolt on the car.

Found some horrendous errors on the part of Renault. Missing alternator bolt started off the problem in the first place. Back in March. That was bad. But to find that they hadn't put a bolt on the lower engine mount was just unbefuckingleavable!!!

The car feels like new now. And a lot quicker. Got to do the custom map next with Henk at Fastchip. And she will hopefully be put to good use very soon, back where it belongs. On track!!!!!!

Ok, so finally got round to doing some more pics of the car.

Can't be bothered with project threads etc. lol

This was finishing off the engine build at Mark Fish Motorsport.
Have to give a huge thanks to Mark for all of his work, and tuition in helping me build this car. His attention to detail is meticulous. I wouldn't let anyone else near it with a spanner.

The car feels like new and is fairly quick to boot.

:)
