Product: Jeyes Easi Spray Car Shampoo
Price: £3.99 from Wilkinsons
Can also be bought from Aldi for £1.99 when they have it in on their offer days
What is it?
A cheap bottle of car shampoo that connects to your hose for joe bloggs on the street.
For the detailer, a potentially cheap alternative to a foam lance
The bottle is pretty simple design, as you can see in the image above, its a bottle with a handle and a hose connection on the top. What it doesnt show is the jet where the water comes out. This is directly opposite the hose connector. The only clever thing on it is the yellow switch. This allows you to switch between clean water and the mix of water and shampoo.
So is it any good?
In a word, no. That said, its still worthy buying!
In use, it produces a nice jet, it also foamed up pretty well. The let down is the Jeyes shampoo inside which failed to remove a lightish coating of dirt. I think removing the shampoo inside and replace it with a better quality shampoo/snow foam and for less than a fiver (or if bought from Aldi, less than a pint of lager) then it will be a very good, cheap alternative to a pressure washer and foam lance.
