So here are finally, some better piccies of the Clio.
Not done a great deal to her yet, but enough to make driving a little more pleasurable....

Rocking out the Nervasports. Yes it needs lowering. I have some 40mm drop springs (FK's) that I need to fit.

I can assure you, the wheels look like I've hit a kerb, however, they are straight. They were checked not too long ago.

needs pics of coilovers fitted ;)

go real low!!! :)

like the work so far mate!

Haha. Won't be going too low dude. Gonna start at 40mm, maybe go 60mm. See how it feels. Quite a few potholes out this way. :(

Also have some silver indicator bulbs, and LEDs for the interior and number plate lights.

  Superleggera'd MK3
try 60mm first ;)

and look forward to updates mate, I have subbed

This :) Or just measure the biggest speedbump then make it 1mm higher than it. Ive got so many potholes around here, its like driving through a mine field, gets your tyres warmed up though :) looking forward to seeing pics of it lowered mate

This weekend's job!

Out of interest, not done the rear shocks on these Mk3's before. They easy to get out?
Can't believe Renault designed the fronts to sit under a scuttle panel, that needs the wiper blades taking off!

  Superleggera'd MK3
Yeah man, thats what i thought when i saw the fronts....had the wipers off in seconds though. The shocks were easy mate. The bolt is inside the boot, then pull out the fabric stuff at the side inside your boot and it will be in there. The pain is getting the new ones on. You have to re-drill the washer to 10mm i think to fit on the AP shocks. Didnt realise till I read the instructions properly. Lucky my mate had a pillar drill :)

Coolio. Yeah, I saw that too about drilling out the washer. Gonna have to speak nicely to a neighbour I think!

Brisa: I've had mine just under a year now. I'm averaging about 55mpg. That's mostly commuting through main road and town/ villages, 20 mile round trip daily. Then whatever I do at weekends. Get about 650 miles to a tank though. Tax is mucho cheapo too. :)

  Superleggera'd MK3
You'd think for £500 quid it wouldnt be too much trouble for them to supply us with 2 correct washers at the combined total of about 50p

your telling me after getting a set of coil's from germany, they didnt send out two friggin washers bored out 10mm bigger?
blinkin hell....

  Superleggera'd MK3
yep.....they make you re-use the standard ones and get you to drill out an extra 2mm to hole .......*sigh*

lol reminds me having to drill out the lower strut bolt holes on my car as they are aftermarket and didnt match the hub holes.....

if its ' made ' to a certain model spec, why cant they get things like washer, bolt hole diameters right....

  Superleggera'd MK3
exactly what i was thinking mate.....especially as it is performance spec goods etc you expect them to fit properly......oh well.....guess not :)

Got lows! Coilovers fitted earlier, and alignment now done. Just need it to settle and next weekend I'll check the measurements on the height out. Won't be going much lower though than this. Maybe....

Will also be fitting my new studs and Petrol Chrome Tuner nuts.

Nice mate. How much is the stud kit and nuts costing if u dont mind me asking :)

From Rarerims.co.uk, it was £40 delivered. Got them this morning after ordering them Friday mid-morning!

Looks nice mate, I'd say a little lower on the back ;) but other than that looks great! Going for same style studs and nuts as the ones I have?

Tuner Petrol/ Neo-chrome? If so, Yes! :approve:

Those wheels really suit the car! The pony 15's (and even the 16's tbh) look lost on the massive mk3.

Good colour choice too, Eclipse grey if i'm not mistaken?

Ps, I want your headlights! Something about the projector headlights - they look 100 times better than the standard TCE ones

Needs a good wash, but now it's all settled, here's how she looks.

Big thanks to Tony, and Nigel down at Automax for sorting out the alignment and camber. Car handles far better now over standard.
You can also just make out in the pic (when zoomed in anyway!), I've got my studs and nuts on the rear. Fronts need doing next.

Left on the list of things to do:

Fit front studs and nuts
Sort out the stereo/ heater surround - laquer peel is quite nasty, so thinking of spraying it.
De-Badge the rear of the car.
Ultra Racing Rear ARB

Cheers dude. You doing Llandow? Tony twisted my arm.
