Key fob eating batterys

As above my key fob is going through battery's like there is no tomorrow. It s for a mk 2 clio

This type of key.
It's gone through two brand new energiser battery's in 6 weeks. Surely they last for years.

Anyone tell me the original battery that should be in them as I replaced like for like what was in there

Battery is CR1220 3volts.

Any help would be much appreciated

Just to add I know the key fob works when it's getting the correct voltage as I wired it to a 2v power supply at work the other day and it worked fine. And the battery ha dropped to 0.3v when I measured it with a multi meter.
So it is just hammering through battery's
