kw v2's modified for cup packed 182 HELP

  M3, Cup racer'd 182
Hi guys abit ov a confusing thread im currently trying to order a set ov kw v2's for my 182 cup packed car.
But there are diffrent ones 4 the Clio with diffrent bolt spacing I know I'll need 60mm which they don't do, So I will have to get these modified to fit.
On these kits it gives me kwatts outputs the 58mm kit which would be better to get is eqivelant to 105bhp,
does these kwatts matter? as a simillar kwatts 2 mine is a 54mm spacin so quite alot ov modifing is needed.
Do you know anyone that have done this and what kit did they order, or have you come across a thread with all the info needed would be better as iv had a look but with no joy
Cheers all

Might be best to talk to Fred on here, he may be
able to point you in the right direction.

the kw rating doesn't matter, the struts have the same inserts.
The thing you need to worry about is the bolt spacing, as you've said, if you can only get 58mm you'll need to modify them.
I'd phone kw direct and explain exactly what you want, they might be able to sort you out.out.

Hi guys cheers 4 ur input iv contacted fred an explained the situation an he said tha the non sport coilovers r 4 a thinner hub 4mm thinner so they won't fit, The best ones would be 172 54mm spacing but then it's alot ov modifing to make sure they fit.
Only other sugestion he said was to buy 172 hubs an then the 172 suspension but there could be another problem that he said about the driveshafts are diffrent on ph1's an ph2's so as he's got 182 an 172 ph'2 cars in his garage, He's goin to have a look 2 c if the 172 hubs fit the 182 an bolt up as no body has even done this b4 so iv got 2 ring him bk on Wednesday/Thursday an hopefully I'll have a answer that can resolve this situation so I could order my suspension.
So I'll keep u updated on this when I find out cheers

I thought 58mm spacing had a 27mm thick hub!!!! 60mm spacing had a 26mm ish one.
