ive got a set of OZ superleggera wheels. they are really light, probably one of the lightest 16" wheels out there. you can get them from most shops, best place to look is on here though. how much you thinking of spending?

does anyone have weights of said wheels? i run stock f1s but am not sure if there is any benefit in changing them
I've got stock and magnesium F1's, hardly any weight difference. Think they are used more for strength than weight.

Not quite the same, but swapped my 182 16" anthracite wheels for a set of 15" Oz Super T's and that made quite a weight saving. Think when I weighed the old wheels they were nearly 19kg's each (with tyres) and the Super T's with tyres were around 15kg each - although they are 195 50 15's so mayeb a bit of weight could be saved by puttin gon 195 45 15s?

i weighed my standard 182 wheels against the new ultraleggera's and there was quite a big difference. the biggest difference was no brake fade which i had been getting on the 182 wheels and the oz's felt snappier on braking, acceleration etc. i didn't expect to notice any difference at all, but i did.
i think f1' are pretty light too

so everyone's saying oz wheels?

i dont have a price range tbh just what ever they cost they cost lol as my clio's comming with 17's that are project kahn reps. cant see them being much help tbh lol

wow, just noticed you can save up to 3,7 kg per wheel which comes down to 14,8 kg total weighsaving !!

Superleggera 5,2 kg (15 inch!)

Turinis 8.9 kg

@ Johnny Mac ; i would really get Diamond Geezers rims as they are the lightest available (for the $$) !!!

6,6 kg !

if your getting a 172 cup, im willing to do a deal on a set of turinis.

it's just a 172, not the cup.

fire me a pm with your website etc for pictures and sizes and prices of wheels as i'll be buying a set of good wheels for my first expensive mod as i'm not running around on 17's.

not looked at them. that the team dynamique ones?

i just want a really good lightweight set of alloys anything to get me away from the 17's!!

how much do the standard wheels weigh?? these ones: (creit to person who took photo sorry only used it for example of wheels)

it's the offset , important to car type. It is how far the wheel comes out or inwards (sorry for bad english ,i'm dutch)

Bolting 4*100 , ET (for Cup being 38) i believe for 172 FF is 45 ?

someone correct me if i'm wrong !?

do you get 172 ff then 172 cup?

that the only types you get?? i kno that the one i'm buying is an 02 plate 172 with the leather interior. that's all i know i dont think it's a ff??

yeah, you will be getting a regular 172. It has the half leather seats, probably aircon, esp abs, etc. (not sure of all options!) Only the 172 Cup is a bit different.

You'll learn ;)

oh btw you can't go wrong with the offset on your car ; only the cup has the diffrent one. ANy other 172 will be the same

15inch Ultra/Superleggeras

around 5 kilos apparently (sans tyres) and will be cheaper new than the flash japanese ones.

15 inch - superleggera 5,4 - ultraleggera 5,6

not all available in right bolt spacing/et though, when looking at the OZ site. only available in 17 inch ??

I've found my next ones, when needing tyres i will be wanting Volk-racing Te-37 .
Always liked this wheel, will yet have to see if it looks good on the Clio

btw I cant believe how all the weightsavers on here have not thrown wheels into their equations..

  Audi TT
Volks are always nice wheels. In the RX7 scene they're top drawer.

I was looking at the gunmetal buddyclub one's when I first got my 172. Like the Turini's and the ultraleggers but really not sure right now what to go for.

got my 172 tonight. i have a post in the clio section under media with a pic. need rid of the 17's asap. prob go with oz's as i tend to find buddy clubs and all that are mainly kept to ur jap car scene. i was gonna try rota's but they dont go with the look i want now i'm not going the euro look.
