  123D Coupe + MK1 MX5
I like how the badging at the back says...

Renault Clio
Sport Sport

1. Removal of stickers - Free + an hour or so of time.
2. Wheels - Will sell like hot cakes to a ned on ebay for around £250 enough to purchase a set of F1's.
3. Ph2 rear lights - £40
= One tidy sunflower.

You say that but first impressions usually tell a good story ( or not as in this case ). He has spent so much on wheels and other s***t. Probably couldnt afford to keep it serviced.

Thats how i would look at it .

Just noticed it is a 195 ! Must be quite some induction kit to make that gain !

All Clio 172s have been ragged, fact. I agree about first impressions but its only minor cosmetic mods, it hasn't exactly got a body kit or rainbow-respray.
You will soon see if its got full service history or not, alot of people on here have spent a fortune on mods, doesn't mean their vehicles haven't been serviced.
Power figures he's on another planet.
Its got a Prospeed exhaust, very popular mod on here and I view that as positive seeing as the standard ones are shite and would almost certainly be knackered at that year and mileage.
Wheels, not to my taste but probably set him back £400+
He's spent a tenner on some graphics from ebay and tinted his standard rear lights.
Nothing irreversible in my eyes and wouldn't put me off in the slightest.

Bingo. I'd be tempted frankly to not buy one from someone that says "It's never been driven hard" - because they're lying to your face. No one, in the world, buys a hot hatch, an drives like Miss Daisy. And if it has done 70k miles at sub 3krpm, it'll drive like s**t because the engine will need a good 'stretching out'.

Also, because it looks so crap, it'll sell for FA so it could be a bargain...
