Lowering Existing 182 Seats

Hi,

I took a test drive of a 182 and liked the car a lot but Im not keen on the height of the seats. Is there anyway of lowering the existing 182 seats? (Any idea why renault make them so high?!)

there fully ajustable like ma 1.2 16v 1s were they still to high decked lol u must be huge or u didnt know lol

I know what you mean. My Punto had height adjustable seats but even set at their lowest position they still felt too high (Im 61).

Id be interested if someone has a solution to this for a Clio - Ive only sat in a 172 (collecting mine next week) but it felt too high. Can the subframes be modified?

It seems crazy that the seats dont go lower. There must be a mod out there for the existing seats.

Cut the foam out the bottom and sew the leather back up?
