Lowering Springs 30mm - 40m

  Clio 182 FF
Turned out work car park yesterday and heard a loud 'PING' noise, got out had a look round couldn't see anything, so drove carefully home (only 1mile away). Took the car to my local garage for peace of mind to discover one of my springs (standard 182 cup suspension) had snapped clean in half!

My car is currently bodged with half a spring in place as he didn't have time to sort it today, (closed early on a sat).

Was wanting to lower my car slightly anyway, as the slightly lower cup suspension isn't much to notice.

Only question what springs to get? I've read loads about Eibach sportlines supposedly the best choice, but i've been searching and seeing Eibach Pro, Spax SSX and Apex Springs?

Ideally I don't want to spend any more than £60, so would be looking for a set second hand, are the eibach's massively better than apex and spax? as they seem to be a lot cheaper...

I've searched the forum for answers but there it loads of threads etc, cheers

extremely massive difference between sportlines and apex!!

Steer clear of apex they are really bad!

Yer after abit more searching i've discovered the apex's are supposed to be awful, so think i'm just going to pay abit more and go for the sportlines
