I would also like to know what the benefits are on a standard car if any.

None whatsoever, I spent £170 having mine done for absolutely zero benefit.

Should have spent it on drugs and hookers,
at least i've have some memories to show for it.

I read a thread on clio trophy forum and a guy on there claimed he gained a few bhp and more torque.

Surely there must be a few bhp and torque to gain from doing it, all I hear on here is how restrictive the standard inlet is.

A rolling road WILL notice the difference, couple of bhp or so.

To put that in context for your power to weight though, thats the same as the difference between half a tank of fuel or a full tank.

Best thing to do is wait for some matched inlets to come up for sale on here for £120,
then sell your standard inlets for £60 in the for sale section,
Bob's your monkey, matched inlets for £60 quid.

60 quid for a standard inlet? No chance!

Les has had a set of RS stamped ones (best from the factory) up for about 40 for a couple of months and they havent sold yet, lol.
