Now I've finished doing cosmetic mods to my car, just wondering what peoples opinions are on engine/breather mods. I've got a s/s exhaust and BMC CDA with caf. There much point in getting inlets matched, decat and remap?
thing is my exhaust is pretty loud as it is, without a decat. And from what people on here say it makes it loooads louder!!
I've got GDI one, its really nice. Looks and sounds mint.
Sports cat are bloody expensive considering its just a cat with less cells than standard. 300 chuffing quid.
remap should be the last thing on your to do list after all other mechanical mods .

would be interesting to see a modded 172 vs standard.

I had a MK1 RSi with anthercite williams alloys..
I had a blast against my mates PH2 clio sport he has panel filter, sports cat + full system
I have catback, panel filter.. I gradually pull away from him already![]()

Im in tha same boat as ste172,ive got the same exhaust as him but have a decat and maxogen but i want inlets done and then remap at the end of it all
Yeah couldnt agree more mate,if i could slip 1450quid on credit card without the other half noticing i would be getting an early xmas pressie and getting the cam kit from GDI:dapprove:until you want more and it all starts again (more power please) ....
