Hi Gavin, the big one is the dipped headlight and smaller one is your main beam, as for replacing to the diamond you could always ring morette up or search on eBay for some replacment lenses.
But if your thinking of fitting HID's i'm not sure if the diamond lenses are plastic so could melt the lens,
I'm not sure on the bulbs i think there H7 but don't quote me on that.

I have just got hold of a pair of these, personally I like them, they're lighter than stock and as with all morette's you can remove the main beam lamp and run ducting to the air filter.
To answer the OP question, the outer lamp is the sidelight and dipped and the inner is main beam. The interesting thing is that the bulb used for the dipped is actually a h4 (hi/lo beam bulb) so you can very easily piggy back the power lead from the main beam lamp to the connector for the dipped to incorporate all 3 in one. As the lamp unit is glass and rated for h4 it's fine to use. I'll post some pics at some point if anyone cares.

Cheap and nasty looking. And if that wiring is as they came out the factory then thats pretty shoddy as well.
Are you really wanting to replace your xenons for these POS? The light won't be as bright and you'll ruin the look of the car. If you want different lights get hold of 172 xenons as they have black surrounds rather than grey.
