Most stuff youve crammed into your clio?

  ?
Ok, going back to uni tomorrow, some 140-what mile journey.

Need to move everything back into my room and im seeing how much I can cram into my lil car! Already thought ahead in terms of laying seats down / removing headrests etc... but tbh i think im not gnna be able to fit everything in :(

Considered removing the rear bench but will be a tad impractical.

Oh, parents coming up in a few weeks so getting them to bring whatever I cant bring up with them then.

so whats the most youve had in your clio, and... any tips?!!!

When I moved out of my parents house I packed pretty much all of my stuff into my car (apart from chest of drawers). I just lay the back seats down and that was ok. It was jam packed!!

I want to still be able to see out the rear window for safety reasons lol.. other than that im going for gold haha... will post pics if i manage to fit it all in.

Van drivers can't see out of the rear window, just use your wing mirrors and man up! With the seats down flat you can get a suprising amount of crap in the wee thing!

Amp and bookshelf speakers (in boxes, may have to take out to avoid unnessesary space)

Ive had a set of evo recaro's and a spare wheel in mine. Couldnt see a thing out the rear window tho.

So if you want to fit it all in prepair to use your wing mirrors ;)

Who needs a spoiler? Not my clio, but we also had a inflatable rib in the boot, few crates of fosters and a push bike lol

I've had a set of 4 alloys (with tyres), a set of 4 17" tyres and another spare wheels in the back of mine with a 12" sub (box is about 18" in total), the Mrs/ was in the passenger seat so it was all in the back!

I've had pretty much a full clio williams, Two doors, carpets, bottom end, brakes, calipers dash, and some other bits n bobs in my 172. Cram it in boyo...

You will get much more in if you think about where your putting stuff before you put it in, flat stuff can go on the bottom with other stuff on top, put all the boxes together so they fit right against each other like a jigsaw meaning no gaps between them and no wasted space! use the footwells, and the passenger seat, f**k the rear mirror off you don't need it, use your wing mirrors as others have said. A little common sense and planning will get you a long way, they can fit 21 people in a new mini for christs sake, get on it man.

When I moved, I had the tv, all the boxes, consoles, laptop, random boxes, bags of clothes, my animal tank and fish bowl, couple of tables, 3 rc cars, duvets etc etc. The next run consisted of a set of drawers, more bags of clothes, microwaves, mirrors and bits and pieces. When I helped me mate move JESUS!! I had about 30 bin bags of clothes on the back seats... then the didnt quite fit ended up on the parcel shelf.

If you pack well, you'll be amazed at what you can fit in LOL!!

In the C2 I've had me and a passenger and a full second interior including all door cards and dash.

I swear clios are like the tardis. I took me and my mate back from uni at the end of last term and all our stuff was in the hallway..my mate was like ahh i can leave some stuff, but no she swallowed it all like a good girl ;)

When I go gigging, i get 4 speakers (2 12" cabs and 2 10" cabs) 2 Power amps, guitar amp, mixing desk, 2 elec guitars and an acoustic, and a mahoosive bag of leads. Takes a very precise packing method though to be fair.

I also managed to go camping for 2 weeks in an elise last year so if thats possible you should in theory* be able to get your whole house inside the clio.

*Theory may not be practical in the real world and would obviously depend on size of said house

3 days after passing my driving test i covered 3/4 of the country to pick up a full dynamique interior, with my mate, so it all went in the back, you dont need rear view mirror that much lol i drove in fog with no rear view and a wobbly driver side mirror :D
