MOT?

Got my first MOT with my 182 on friday, looking for some tips. What sort of times are best for MOT testers? i can go at 8am or 4pm am thinking if they have had a bad day 4pm is bad time, also what should i look out for on my car?

Not necessarily a good thing imo. I'd rather know if things weren't quite right. As bad as it can sometimes be money wise only a tight arse would choose to ignore them.

Or, just make sure your car is roadworthy.

Clean it inside and out. Won't really make much difference I expect but I always like to clean the car for an MOT, I like to think it will make them think I take care of it

In reality, they have a checklist of things, and unless they are dodgy they will fail the car if it doesn't meet certain criteria regardless of the time of day.

Dont know why but i always feel better taking a clean car for an MOT!! Weird.
