My 182 pics, a bit of strippage

Stripped the interior of the 182 out today getting ready for a big load of wheels and tyres to be done next week. Weighed everything taken out, was 30kgs of stuff, then the wheels should save me a further 25kgs once they are on, the H&Rs work out to about 5kgs saved too i think.

Then when I get the buckets in and strip the rear belts etc as well, should be some decent PTW gains to be had :D

Will be going lower on the rear now to compensate the removal of stuff, and the front needs some work to stop cathcing which will hopefully be done tomorrow.

Anyways, a few pics:

Hopefully soon to look like this:

25kg on wheels?? I swapped from 182 wheels to team dynamics 15" and that was only 12kg saving.

Standard wheel is roughly 18kg with tyre. Tyre weighs in at about 6kg, making the wheel roughly 12kgs.

New wheels are about 6kgs each, then 5kg for a smaller tyre makes that about 6kg saving per wheel.

Lol, cheers!

Well the red will just be an experiment to be honest, won't be hard for me to spray them back a 'normal' colour if it doesnt suit.

I want the 15's for track work and cheaper tyres, so 100% going on!

Plus it needs to go lower, which will help with the 15's :D

Form over function ladies.

And as said, if I don't like the look with red wheels, I can always try green, orange, blue and pink before I go to the normal black or anthracite.

I'd do them anthracite to keep the standard colour scheme dude, looks stunning in the first pics!
