My First Car ;) and Hello

  Ex 182 owner
Good Morning All,
Just bought my first car......and i'm 35 lol.

Due to driving Mums and a company car, I just never got round to actually owning one. Always dreamed about a Willams when I was a youth, Tried for a trophy, however have settled on a clean 182, as Williams/trophys are crazy money for a good ones. Goodness there are some unloved sheds out there:S. One "dealer" car I tried I could only descibe as possibly the single worst vehicle I have ever driven. Me and the boys had field racers BITD that I would rather have been seen in.

Its a low mileage weekend car so its getting pamper from now on. I'm not a mod mad type, just like a clean well running car.

I'm more of a technical question reader on forums rather than a poster but thought I would say hello as I do find it cheeky to just turn up and ask a question with no post count.

All the best.

Cheers Folks,
Pics will come in good time. Shes never going to be a show car. Just a nice car. Great site this. Loveling one members BG where they shows how to clean up the belts. using nothing much more than a bucket and some clothes pegs.. Instant bookmark. Fancy some recaros, even though they are half the price of the car itself and from the examples I have seen, doesnt need them. Shopping list needs to get together and a chat with the lads a Birchdown for some belts ect. I have no idea if the car really needs them, as they "may" have been done. I may aswell just get them done again eitherway.

The real beauty of a weekend car I guess is that it can wait when it needs bits as there is no "on the road monday" pressure.

Looking forward to it.

Chris
