My Flamer on V-Maxx Coilovers (56k suicide).

  A Flamin' Red one
Having waited a good few months for my V-Maxx coilovers to arrive I finally got around to having them fitted.

The college I work at has a brand new motor vehicle workshop and one of the racing team (yes, we have our own racing team!) technicians got them fitted, corner weighted, cambered and laser aligned for me.

In the last few months I've spent a small fortune on her before I have to start putting money into the house.

- Carbon Simota Aero induction kit with CAF.
- New set of Toyo T1R tyres.
- K-Tec 2.5" stainless stealth system.
- V-Maxx coilovers with one degree camber.
- New OEM discs up front.
- New OEM pads up front and on the rear.
- Freshly painted front 'diamond', wing mirrors and door bullets.
- Freshly painted front and rear brake calipers.
- OMP tow eye.
- Silvatec bulbs all round.
- 501 LED side lights.
- Recent MOT.
- Recent Tax.

(I must buy a tripod!)

The turn in is so much more immediate. Being a fixed damper rate they're pretty stiff but then I quite like that.

where have u run the caf to the simota aerfoam filter i have one and am struggling to find best place to take it cheers

Mine runs down towards the horn/accoustic valve and squeezes past. A bit tight I admit! Removal of the accoustic valve is on the list of things to do still.

Nice, but I'd raise the back a wee bit, always preffered a slight nose down poise. Needs more camber!

I was thinking about lowering the front slightly more rather than raise the rear ;) . In all honesty it was a bit higher but my weekend away with fat b******s in the rear has compressed the springs a fair bit.

I agree about the camber. When initially fitted I had some serious camber - it looked mint - but then it's only road use at the moment and tyres aint cheap!

Have to say that looks stunning, will have to show my mate who has a totally standard Flamer (bar a stealth exhaust).

Subtle and sexy!!!

Where u get the tax disk holder though? want lol.[/quote]

sure they're on ebay

Car looks stunning btw, really want a clio again now. If you ever decide to sell let me know first!!!

Looks smart, i like a lot. I would wind the front down another 10mm, but bye bye expensive splitter...

get a cup spoiler and will complete imo
