need help urgently! , regarding calipers

just got ripped off by renault for two 16v calipers to go on my 1.4 for my valver brakes, thing is i have lucas (girling) calipers , so ordered 16 girling, but the bloke said i might need new carriers? ?

i thought they were a straight fit, can someone clarify ?

16v calipers will go straight onot the std hubs, regardlerss of what make they are, you might find you need the shorter fixing bolts, nut that is all.

Shoudln have asked on ehre im sure someone (matbrown) has some
