just fitted janspeed exhaust from k tec plus janspeed sport cat and the car feels much faster. wasn't really expecting much of a difference so happy days maybe my old one was more knackered than i thought

Almost certainly just placebo from the noise, but realistically, that's just as good

I love my ktec superport. However ive just put my cat back on as it was getting a bit annoying with all the noise, but now the cat is back on its a bit boring haha.

My next plan is to put the decat back on but get a mid silencer and see if that sounds to my tastes.

Fairely sure the 182 cat is a sports cat anyway so bit pointless putting one on unless yours is shafted

yeah its pretty good the janspeed one looks a lot less restictive though and my renault one was cracked, they wanted something like £900 !!!

lol yeh its a joke renault prices on the cats init.
Glad your happy with the system anyway, it go on ok? I wacked mine on in about 10 mins and got a perfect fit with no arsing about with mounts etc.

Did you go for the ultra performance or normal janspeed? Supersports or sports?

normal one 'sports' didn't want it too loud. it is knocking slightly on the middle section will give it a fine tune tomorrow just needs the front part lengthening and the join to the back part pushing in further if that makes sense

Yeh ano what you mean.

What I did was put it all on and leave the clamps loose, started the engine and gave it A few revs to get everything into place and then tightened the lot up.

would you recommend the sports version for someone who wants a bit of sound? i like the slash cut tailpipes on the 182 and was thinkin of gettin the janspeed 'sport' version, but i want noise lol but not lots of noise if you understand me.

Get the supersports with no mid silencer.

The sports is almost same as standard if you keep the cat

is the supersport one you mean still the janspeed? as the other ktec exhaust has 2 versions

Ktek do two exhausts, each has a sports or supersports option, difference being the centre silencer.
The janspeed ultra performance which is a 2.5" bore, and the normal janspeed 2.25".

Did you have any trouble fitting yours? The bar at the back of the silencer doesn't sit right on the mounts on mine. Almost like the bend is the wrong place, will grab a pic when it's not so cold!
