New lowering spring problems

  Clio 197
Hi All

Please help me. I have just fitted a set of apex lowering springs to my 197. There now seems to be a horrible knocking noise coming from the 2 front wheels when going over any uneven ground. has anybody got any ideas as to what this could be as it is really doin ma head in

Apex springs are renowned for giving a very harsh ride, i know its a different car but when i put them on my 182 the slightest bump in the road gave a good thud/knock.

Check that the two strut to hub bolsts are tight, springs seated correctly and that the top mounts are tight and reassembled in the correct way.

other than that its because they are apex:)
