Hi there,another newbie from Edinburgh. Just bought a 2008 197 in blue and I am loving it. Had an RX8 but the cost was killing me :S so I had to find a more sensible yet still quick replacement. Hope there are meets up this way cause I do like a good gathering.

The Clio's running costs are much more manageable. Don't get me wrong I think the RX8 is a great drive. High revving and great around the twisties. If it didn't cost so much to run I would still have it. The Clio is much more relaxing to drive around town(torque). In the rex you had to work the gears to get the best out of it. Have to say though the Clio's handling is great and almost as fast as the rex. I'm probably the oldest (45) boy racer in Edinburgh now. :approve:
