NGK spark plugs

What is the equivalent of the NGK sparks for the Megane Classic 1.4l 16v ?

if its the 1999> model then it should be BKR6ES, and gap it to 0.9mm

thats for the K4J engine....

you NEVER gap new plugs.........

if they aint right from the off, get the correct ones!

Ben, find me a packet of NGK plugs that has all the plugs gapped the same !

Ben thats possibly the most stupid thing you have said yet.

I agree with Brun. I have yet to get a set of plugs gapped correctly. Also this is every brand of plug.

I gave the plug type for ther E7J engine on the RSC forum. Where you never said it was a 16V!

i dont memorise plug codes guys! lol

I guess in these pansy engines we run its not such a problem, but weakning the weld nxt to the thread isnt my fave thing to do.......that little peice of metal can do quite alot as you know........

Thanks, mine is from year 1999. Will try the BKR6ES plugs to see if there is any difference in performance.
