Nut sizes.. maybe I should have written a better title

Got my coilovers today, obviously was anxious to fit them so jumped right in. Problem I've run into is the rear shocks have a different thread on them to the standard shocks, so the old top nuts don't fit. Only one of the new shocks came with a nut, so I need another. I've managed to deduce that it's an M10, but all the M10 nuts I have are a much broader thread. The nut I need is much more fine, any ideas where I could get one from? I checked at work tonight (Homebase) but we did nothing suitable..

Who sold you the coil overs? Contact them.

Just a chap off Facebook through the Renault UK group, you know how it is.

He's no idea and doesn't have the nut lying around so is next to no use.

Take a trip down to your local nut & bolt shop with the shock. They should be able to find a nyloc nut for them.

Are the koni's? I know a 200sx wheel nut will fit!

I had the same problem with my bilsteins, took the strut to my local specialist, it was a m9 thread had a fine pitch. Not a common size at all, wasnt even listed in his book.
