OMP Exhaust Question

A few weeks ago, a lad on here posted about having a new exhaust fitted to his ph2 172, it was a silver one, and the exhaust he had fitted was the GROUP N OMP with a tair pipe the size of a Mc Donalds straw, ive been trying to look the thread up with no luck, anyone know who it was, or where i can find one of these exhausts? i actually asked the chap in the thread what it was and where i could get one... but didnt write it down

U need to buy ear plugs with it aswell Its stupidly loud and intrusive!!!

Kam racing dont do the exhaust anymore mat as far as im aware.

thats awesome.... does anyone know if you can get just a back box? as ive just had the whole system replaced (Standard.... BIG mistake) and would rather not shell out another 300-400 quid

Spoke to graeme @ kam racing for you,your best bet would be speaking to OMP, as they have stopped making them now. Thats why kam-racing dont have them on there site anymore.

you might be able to get this from demon tweeks, i know they have omp exhausts...

As for just buying the backbox, its not a good idea as the joins arnt in the same place as the standard exhaust. The backbox section is much longer. Guess you could always have it modded though.

no you cannot buy just the backbox, i've asked them already as i wanted to make a system myself with that backbox.

just go to a custom exhaust place mate and ask them to try and find you something similar.


by the way it's a group N system which means its for race applications, therefore you will only ever find a fully de-catted one, manifold back.
