Im wanting to do my bullets. Just painting the lettering to match the car.

Do you just paint onto the silver lettering or sand em down first or what!? Unsure :S

How long to dry after each application? about an hour? lol im impatient.

How do you "cure" them?

what I did...

between the primer, 1 hour
between the base coats, 4 hours
after the lettering, 4 hours
between the laquer, 6 hours

to cure (harden) the laquer just leave them somewhere warm, dry and dust free for a few days.

The key is in the preperation. Spend time with the primer making sure any imperfections are ironed out at this early stage, and importantly, take your time!

WoW they look absolutely fantastic,im gonna try mine if they come out 1/2 as good as ^^ them ^^ i'll be chuffed to bits..awesome work

sanding down shouldnt take ages, you're only scoring the surface... not removing any layers.

I painted the lettering with a touch up brush kit from Renault.

  Dodgy one
Mine took me about 20 mins to get off the car and prep, I then Mixed my paint up, Painted & Laquered them and baked for 25 mins :D

Result on w**ky mobile lol

Porche Seal grey i believe, The only way i could get all the wax off and stop reactions was to run them under the gunwash, Panel wipe wouldnt touch it  Collonites durability for ya

I painted my diamond yesterday after a lot of playing with the primer to get it right.

The 1st coat was fine, put on a 2nd coat and it bubbled & dried out with loads of deep cracks :S

Back to scratch with the thinners or an easier fix to it?

You didnt leave it long enough between coats by the sounds of things?

As for what to do next.. im no expert but start from scratch?? Or wet and dry out the cracks and apply another coat?

  "Navy" N17 TWO
Yeah tried to wet-flat it back until the cracks were smoothed out and put on a thin coat a short while ago - FAIL! :p

Going to have to get the thinners out by the looks of it

That looks quality mate, nice and subtle, is it as good a colour match to the wheels in real life than it is in the pics ?

Stripped it back to standard with the thinners, cleaned it thoroughly and sanded it before primer.

Now the primer is drying out unevenly/rough at the edges :S

Its as close as i could find going through the variant chips. The only thing it lacks is a hint of blue but i didnt want to experiment and ruin them  other than that its spot on
