Painting my inlet

I am using VHT paint for the main part of the inlet (and fuel rail gaurd), but I want to paint the "Reanault Sport" logo in orange to match the wheels and mirrors. I was going to use some orange paint that I've used to touch my wheels up with (it's normal car paint), but will it peel and flake due to the heat? or does it ideally need to be high heat paint?

I've never used high temp paint on my inlets and never had a problem.

Best way is to paint it all, then sand the lettering then use a thin paint brush

Or if your quite artistic, paint your inlet then the Renault Sport in orange with a brush a few times (obviously leave it a bit in between coats for it to dry) then use some fine wet and dry to flatten the letters then a bit of tcut lightly to bring back up to shine :)

that's what I was going to do, not going to spray the lettering, was wondering what paint people have used as I didn't want to buy a high heat orange for something so small when I already have some!!

Good advice though, thanks

painted mine with a small brush using tamiya enamel paint. Took 6 coats and retouched any overspill with main colour. Took about 3 hours and using a heat gun to speed up the drying time between coats.
