PC'd my ph1 today.......

well i think its as dirty as its ever been, so on my weekend off i spent it at work lol

so this is how it was yesterday:

oh and CS FTW! lol :

I washed it yesterday, then left it in the workshop overnight to properly dry through out, and went back in today to start.




soooo......

after a good clay,(which turned the clay black) and 4 hours of PC'ing and a good polish iv ended up with this:

(disclaimer - pls be gentle this was my first time with a PC and i didn't have as much time as i would have wanted)

Opinions as always good and bad are welcome

Something i also did today was tackle my headlights. They have always been very pitted, and cloudy so i got some very fine sanpaper, wetted it and rubbed them downn, then polished the scratches out, this has made the glass 100 times smoother (as it was very rough to touch before) and i will let you know if it helps my lights (which i hope it will as mine has alays been pretty poor, even with uprated bulbs in)

cheers matey i will do it again soon, te roof is still glazed even after a few turns with the PC, so im going to look at what i can do about that, though what did make me alot happier was iv always had a section of flat paint around the passenger door lock/handle, as if the laquer had peeled off, but after today thats now nice and shiney so im chuffed

it does need more work on the bonnet too, its alot better but im having trouble with some of the deeper scratches

took me a few goes with my pc before i got used to it

with the headlights russ, i noticed that the bulbs are whats bad, i switched to HIDs and they are much better.

although i could do with taking the headlight covers off to clean the inside

can you remove the covers chap? yeah i need a hid kit, where did you get yours from matey?
