People with M.A.D footrest...

I fitted one the other day, just wondering, has everyone used the bolt provided? I'm really happy with the footrest, but the bolt doesn't sit flush, and looks a bit odd, I'm thinking about sticking it down instead, has anyone done this? Would those extra strong velcro pads do the job?

The bolt on mine sits flush. Did you leave the plastic footrest in place?

Yes I did, because in the thread it said to. Is this correct? The head of the bolt is far larger than the hole in my case?

That is correct yes. I suspected you hadn't done that, but if you have I am not sure how this isn't working out for you. Are you bolting it up by using the correct hole?

Countersink probly not deep enough in the footrest
